All over the internet, there had been enthusiastic predictions of many indictments, including Rove, and all the way up to Cheney. I knew damn well there was no "there" there.
Make of it what you want, but the Left is not happy today to see only Libby sitting in the dock, and on no charges related in any way to leaking classified information.
Shorter version: If the investigation had never taken place, there would have been no crime.
All their hopes are now on what will develop down the road. Same old, same old.
