I must be missing something.
What valuable piece of truth was Libby still hiding at the time of the indictments?
Or to put it more simply, going through each charge one by one, if Libby had told the absolute truth from day one, what would Fitzgerald know now that he doesn't already know? Including who "Official A" is and all the rest?
Most of us knew there wasn't any real legal jeopardy to the "leak" charges months ago. And hysterical leftists hollering "treason!" at the top of their lungs didn't change any of the facts.
