Wars are ultimately two things. First, logistics. Second, people on the ground.
The US is extremely vulnerable to having it's electrical grid disrupted as well as it's transportation network. Taking out the electrical grid would disrupt production, and taking out the transportation would mean it didn't matter what one produced.
Next, what do you think would happen to the civilian population? No electricity. No heat, no AC, and very rapidly, nothing in the stores which couldn't open anyway.
The Chinese would do fine.
And they can transport everything they need on people's backs. Try that in the US.
Next, people on the ground. The US would have very few troops, with sophisticated sensors and weaponry, with very little materiel, and a stressed to the max civilian base. We haven't had a war come to our soil since the Civil War. Can't imagine it.
The Chinese would have a whole bunch of people with simple weaponry at the end of a supply line which would continue to function no matter what.
Do not ever believe your own propaganda.

Tell me Osama hasn't beaten the US Army at the moment.
