Methinks that is part of the problem.

After all, I can't help but recall your post awhile back in the defense of hatred as a human necessity.

So should it surprise me when you & Daniel demonstrate the no-win scenario of hating? Ego-deflations and retaliation are the order of the day.

I've mentioned before 'turn the other cheek' and you had a pithy comeback before. But even someone as stubborn as you will realize eventually that to diffuse hate you don't return it, you simply return love.

It's not just philosophy, but is really a science.

It cancels out the wave form. If hate & prejudice broadcast at a frequency of Y the addition of Y give 2Y - not a reduction.

-Y added to Y = 0

So while it may give one personal satisfaction to play "I've trumped you" in the hate game, it really only comes back to haunt you. For now you go around with 2Y in your thought field and will attract hate from others like a magnet. Suddenly bad things happen and one feels jinxed, when really a little application of logic and reason will tell one that one is simply reaping feedback.

You see, if someone projects hate at you, you DON'T have to retaliate. By expressing in hate they have condemned themselves to the feedback automatically until they change their signal.

The fanatical Muslims burn flags and talk of how they hate Denmark and France. People see their actions and a good number react to the hatred with hatred of their own.

It's a frequency thing. Hate brings out hate. Fighting the impulse is a sign of development. Not merely fighting it but returning love to the hater is a sign of mastery.

Israel & Palestine have a history of this hate. Breaking the hate cycle is so very hard to do. It requires far more mental effort to cancel hate with lovethan responding with a sarcastic or hateful remark. The HZ is mute testimony to that.

And it's not just hate that reverberates. Learn to love even those who hate you and you will find that strangers love you too. People will seek you out for help, because they sense that equanimity in you.

Just my 25 cent "anti-hate" speech.

;-)

(I'm obligated to provide such on account of my own imbalances expressed with you in the past. For when one knows this principle and still engages in any form of hate - the repercussions are much longer lasting, much as the hurt to others is more damaging.)
