Read what you wrote and ask YOURSELF why the Democrats have never even mentioned such a concept, why it is taboo in Washington. You will think of the answer. If you don't get it within ten seconds, look below:
The rich pay lower tax rates than they shoud because they pay for the privilege. The USA tax code exceeds 17,000 pages. Why? The tax code could easily be written in 10 pages. The other 17,000 pages are tax breaks for special interests. Which special interests? Campaign donors, of course.
The Democrats dare not raise the issue for fear of offending their own contributors. Don't you know the difference between Republicans and Democrats?
Republicans believe in tax breaks and giveaways to rich Republicans.
Democrats, in marked contrast, believe in tax breaks and giveaways to rich Democrats.
Got it?
