Policy options
(I do sometimes wish for a way to edit posts to clarify things I've said)
So I guess what I find most objectionable about the strategy of the NeoRepublicans is the way they're trying to hardwire their policies into the fabric of government so that they can't be undone even if times change and most of us agree they need changing. That's disenfranchising on a huge scale, a dangerous hobbling of our government, and I don't like it. Nobody has a right to take away our policy options in a representative democracy.
