Unfortunately, the girl waiting tables trying to skimp by on a meager salary is recieving little if any of the trillion$ in government spending that is supposedly making her life better.
In fact, she is paying 14.5% in S.S. and medicare taxes so that retired rich people can collect their "fair share" from those entitlement programs, even though they don't need to be on the government dole.
Until we are all willing to call S.S. and medicare what they truely are and should be (WELFARE PROGRAMS) then that woman waiting tables will continue to slave away to serve you food, and Serve Uncle Sam's tax coffers.
P.S. If enough people like her decide to check out of the workforce, then Uncle Sam's ponzi scheeme falls apart and old people really are forced to eat dog food.
