1)D you know how they make vaccines for the normal flu?
2) Do you understand why the avian flu would be harder to make a vaccine against.
3) Do you understand that the issue is NOT about an existing flu strain, but one that is LIKELY to eventually arise? Thus a vaccine against something that hasnt arisen yet is a little difficult to come up with....
4) A truly huge avian flu epidemic could spread quickly and overwhelm medical facilities rapidly.
5) making a vaccine in quantities of 100's of millions of doses is not something you do in a couple of months.
