Just upgraded my computer again. AMD 64 X2 3800+ on an ECS motherboard with a new Nvidia PCIE 6800GS 256 MB graphics card. Also have 2 GB PC3200 RAM. The thing really rocks although I'm fully aware I'm not getting use of the 64 bit or dual core until the next operating system comes along. Flight Simulator is purring though. The motherboard/CPU were cheap - $279 and the graphics card around $180.
Of course all of this is a tax deduction for my Flightsim scenery design company. There's something evil there when you get a tax deduction for a business that sprung from a very fun hobby but not using the advantage would be like me as an atheist not taking the Christian holidays off. My momma didn't raise no fool.
