ok...Maybe not that stupid a job description...But then...
In my limited experience working on government projects, I've seen things that were damn close to such stupidity...Its one of the big reasons why I've made a decision to "NEVER WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT"...
I bet we would all be amazed at some of the make-work going on that is wasting away our tax dollars, while technology has made it completely obsolete and un-necessary.
With all the unbelievable advances in technology, why are there still more and more government workers every year?
Shouldn't there be less and less?
Add in that as the economy does better and better, shouldn't there be fewer and fewer people requiring government services?
And at the same time (until very recently) number of employees in the Military has been decreasing significantly.
But still...The government payroll grows and grows...At the Federal, State, and Local levels...No government workers lose their jobs...But layoffs are routine in the private sector...The number of government workers grows, and grows, and grows...
Interesting.
