"On the other hand, if there is a scientific theory, there is always supporting evidence. The difference between atheists and theists is that when there is good evidence supporting a change in theory atheists acknowledge it, and the theory changes. Religious people have beliefs without evidence, they never ask for proof for their beliefs, and if someone comes along with a different belief they have no reason to agree with them. In fact, it is impossible to change their minds."
You are apparently confusing science with Atheism.
Atheism is belief that there isn't a God. Theism is belief there is a God. If a theists says that God is at top of the mountain and if you go up there anyone can see him. A scientist [or anyone] could then travel up to the top mountain and look for God. Upon not discovering God he can claim that he didn't see God. But the scientist hasn't proved that atheists are correct or that God doesn't exist.
"Evolution is a good example, where a scientific theory is supported by such a vast volume of evidence that most professional scientists only argue over minor details."
Sure, but don't forget Darwin was Theist.
And what atheist has ever contributed anything significant to science? I mean if you going to say it's impossible for religious people to change their minds, don't you need some evidence of this- or is it just an article of faith?
