Fifth Column was about pan-asians and in retrospect a bit racist in tone. Heinlein's 'Revolt in 2100' or 'If This Goes On' was about a revolt against a Christian Theocracy, and a far better read. Interestingly, Heinlein speculated that the US gave up on space travel after achieving it...
