To some degree I think it's smart you and your husband have discussed getting out because it's only going to get worse. The weather changes are obvious and Florida is like an appendix sticking out in those hot gulf waters.......
Would be better to raise your kids somewhere safe. Get them settled in a SAFE school where they won't be subjected to weather trauma. My gut instincts tell me the next few years will see major upheavals in weather patterns. It's all over.
Flying back into the Florida lowlands tonight at sunset, I realize even more how much my desire to "get out" is. Florida will be wind and water swept for years. No need to put yourself and your family through more stress. Where have you talked about going?
