We're having the drought spell too, Lindy. I've been trying to keep our lawn alive as well, but sometimes, it's like watering hay. :) Nice thing about St. Augustine grass is that it turns green pretty quickly.
Yes too regarding the daytime skies and sunsets. We had a couple of absolutely blue skies where the only thing resembling a cloud was our moon.
I know a few friends that have already put some of their eggs somewhere too, just in case.
Air and Sea show is coming up in May and husband doesn't want to miss it (we've already reserved a spot with ocean view for that one).
Another beautiful day here and my philonopsis are in bloom!
