You seem to be a loner and might want to do your own thing, but they have some good info on trail conditions, requirements like permits and bear canister requirements. Yes even on the PCT.
I hiked up to the PCT and down out of Kings Canyon and always wanted to go back for a long trek but never did. We even planned an equestrian trip when I had horses but the people with the pack mules bailed out because of time restraints.
