Ever heard of the Mai Lai Massacre?
Men from all cultures who are pressured in war do all sorts of things to their enemies. Whether the house was targeted and fire bombed, or whether they were told to take no prisoners, someone gave orders to obliterate those houses and everyone in it.
There are other incidences where houses were torched, and the charred bodies inside were found to all have bullet holes in them.
Do you think it's not possible that men will snap or follow diabolical orders? Do you even know what it's like over there??
