I call bullshit
There don't seem to be any transcripts of Pianka's address that I can find, but in reading about him, as a distinguished scientist who has spent decades studying lizards and their ecology, I seriously doubt that he was advocating that ebola be used purposely to reduce the human population of the earth by 90%. I suspect that he might said that the rest of the ecology of earth would be healthier if that were to happen, or that some such event is likely to happen in the future, but I really don't think that he wants that to happen.
Until I see a real transcript proving otherwise, I call bullshit, and I further call you, Tom, irresponsible for spreading slander without knowing the facts.
