And you think unlimited cheap power would be without any problems? Seems we've done a fair job of mucking things up with limited, expensive power. The clean part would be nice, but you have to be careful what you wish for. Providing unlimited, easy to get food to most animals results in disasters, and I think that vast amounts of energy/power, just like vast amounts of political power, would be unbearably open to vast abuse. And come to think of it, vast energy/power would likely translate into vast political power.
