Itâ€™s OK to accept gifts from other government agencies like the Nevada boxing commission except if they might be used for influence (whether they do or not).

Reid and McCain were part of the avocation for a new boxing commission, which the Nevada commission opposed. Therefore there was conflict of interest. McCain knew this, Reid apparently didnâ€™t or ignored it.

I see no justification for Reidâ€™s acceptance of the tickets based on how he voted. I believe that would create a loophole in the system.
