Oh yeah, I wasn't defending Reid, just putting it into context. There's plenty of corruption to go around, unfortunately, so news of what looks like a relatively minor error in judgment (magnified through the Caesar's Wife Syndrome) is just one datum on the graph. I'm not surprised in an absolute sense by any one incident of corruption. It's the trend line we have to worry about.
