I totally agree with you on that.
We have people terrified about nuclear power because they don't know the facts...It may be that they do not know all the fact, but they do know that nuclear power is very powerful indeed, they also know that no power generating system has 100 percent efficiency, they know that the useful energy that is generated and the wasted energy end up as heat that the environment must absorb, they know that nuclear waste products are extremely dangerous for a long long time.
They also know that an object that is radioactive will contaminate the surroundings with radioactivity.we have idiots dismissing global warming because they had the coldest winter in 70 years
