And where were you?

Again, I like the way you write. You manage to take the reader along with you, seeing things through your eyes, your perspective. Of course, that's what a good writer IS, except for the ones who startle, surprise and can make the reader howl with laughter.

You could have left your last line off, unless it's part of a novel.
Here I was nostalgically thinking where I was during the Kennedy assassination and the lunar landing, and it just took me into the deep recesses of my mind, then I found myself wondering who'd I'd made love with all night long. I think I prefer to remember that I was in highschool biology class when JFK was shot.....and I was shocked, SHOCKED because I knew what he stood for and I knew evil forces had taken him out. He was a light unto many. As for the moonlanding, I was standing on Younge St. in Toronto with my boyfriend watching it on a storefront TV.

As an aside, have you seen the acclaimed "Rescue Me?" on Fox TV network Tuesday night at 10 pm? The main character Denis Leary is also their award-winning main writer. The shows a hoot; intense development entertwined with comedy and drama.

Denis Leary has won a Golden Globe for his acting and an Emmy nomination for his writing in a drama series. He started as a stand-up comediam at MTV, but has done stage and theatre. His character is centered around a failed marriage due to his alcoholism and philandering, but the setting is a firehouse in NYC. The shows centers around the lives of six characters that are a team at FDNY. They shoot in the streets of Brooklyn.

It's riveting. I had painted all day and sat down exhausted Tuesday night at 10 pm in front of TV and while channel surfing, caught the trailer, and I was hooked.
It's intense, it's hilarious, the music rocks and the characters are all based on his real-life <experiences.>
