...almost 75% of your writing boil down to political messages.
To tell you the truth I favor the local leaders anyday over the career academicians who are only jockeying for suck up points for their next move up the ladder and the next increased pension package.
I've watched career academicians destroy kids lives and ambitions, seemingly orgasmic at the prospect of their power over some youth, complete with an inferiority/superiority complex dangling from their sleeves right next to their econobox keychain clutched in their hand.
It would be nice to say this was the exception, but it is not - it is the rule.
Career academicians are, unfortunately way more often than not, very unsympathetic people. They may be educated, but their view of the world is warped by their lifelong sabbatical from real life, their escape mechanisms which involve power-trips with children, and an almost paranoid distrust of anyone in power or in a position above them, make for discomforting and tenuous relationships with parents, people working for a living and even their fellow career academicians!
Yes, I know. It's harsh, insulting, unwarranted and politically charged.
That's me. I play with live wires all the time. Guaranteed to be good for a shock.
