Your dream

Did it ever occur to you that maybe I WANTED you to answer me here perhaps to draw attention to other subjects brewing in this thread?
A good thread with several subjects gets short-changed and lopped off by moving it to the top of the board. And actually, this was only four threads down, and just getting interesting. We have threads of ENORMOUS lengths here, often Zoners jump in from different interests.

Now, I try not to get personal on bbs', (unless I'm provoked), but I will take a second shot at the dream imagery you had. You said it was due to personal stress in your life at that time, so I see it in a different light now.

My guess it was job stress and that you were either up for a promotion or a raise but that something was getting in it's way and your were fighting some subliminal corruption or immorality by superiors or co-workers. That, or you were being blamed or taking the heat for something that was just plain stalled, something you thought should be done another way. They may have seen this as business, but you found it immoral and were threatened by it. You were left out of the circle, unappreciated and felt out of touch and lost with your direction, your surroundings. It's obvious you were looking for a way out, and it got darker and lonelier as you tried to find your way back. There was still despair and isolation as you found yourself wandering into those darker places, further dishevelled.
If this didn't have to do with your job, it might have been about your health. (Any time you are dirty or cut, you are unhealthy or psychologically injured).
This is a depressing dream, one of "fight or flight" type thing.
Was the "Boss" your actual boss, your doctor or perhaps a subliminal representation of yourself?
Did you have to give a presentation that you felt wouldn't work out well?
mean there a MANY interpretations.

I write down my dreams, and kept a journal for many years. Some dreams are nothing more than a force of jumbled conceptions that come out subconsciously under stress. Others seem to have no meaning at all, yet we can wake up profoundly disturbed. I had a couple unusual ones this week. They weren't foreboding, just my accepting of future events that are impossible to avoid. Because it involved two people I love dearly, it was a foreboding.

I also have mediumistic abilities and often dream of places BEFORE I go there. They have a different quality in that I can feel the air on my skin and sense smells in the air. They IMPRINT on my subconscious, therefore I am not surprised whern I find myself wanting to go places.......and find them EXACTLY as I dreamt them. Put me in a car in the drivers seat and I can drive you to them. Give me a map and I can pretty much tell you where it is. It never fails to amaze me. I've often wondered if there is some order to our destiny, and that we all have the ability to direct our lives if we would but pay attention.
