Well, you'd think if Lieberman felt himself a Democrat and thought they were running off the tracks, he'd stay within the party to try to change their minds, not bring about a situation where he might precipipate the Republicans seizing even more power. I think you're probably right though that it will be tough for a conservative victory in Connecticut. Lieberman lost my respect when he came out with the Bushies in the Nancy Shiavo case. He proved himself a total religious whack job at that juncture.
