I don't know Lamont, but I suspect that Lieberman's politics more closely match mine, coming from the center of things as I do. But against Lieberman I have: his obvious support for the neocon line concerning Iraq, and his pet Democrat status with the Repubs.

I also really dislike the idea of going independent if you can't get your party's nomination. Seems scummy to me.
