You would have to help me understand.

How, in the world of Conservatives, a person who:

abhors the slaughter, torture, rape and mutilation of innocent people is considered un-American.

a person who avoided military service, has never contributed to their community in any meaningful way, who resents paying taxes, and who advocates the preemptive slaughter of innocents (read "war") is considered pro-American.

a person who believes in the entire Constitution of the United States of America, including the Bill of Rights, is considered un-American.

a person who advocates those rights guaranteed under the Constitution only when it's convenient and thinks the power of President of the United States supercedes laws is considered pro-American.

a person who believes that when America destroys a country such as Afghanistan, under the promise of the President of the United States to rebuild it, should bring peace to those people and rebuild the country is considered un-American.

and how a person who believes it is just fine for the United States of America to renege on it's promises is pro-American.

Because I believe that what the United States USED to stand for was worth dying for. That principles such as Human Rights, freedom and safety under law, that honor and respect were worth fighting for.

And why Conservatives think those things are options at the whim of George Bush.

Tell me how that's un-American in the view of you and your ilk, the True Believers, the Conservatives.
