Conservatives refusal to acknowledge the complete failure of American foreign policy, the waste of money, lives and prestige, the inability to learn from mistakes, forces reasonable people to hold up reality over and over and over.
Maybe someday the True Believers will check reality against their talking points. Maybe someday they we'll see the "just tell 'em" and "just say" admitted as being pure nonsense.
Maybe. In the meantime, it's Conservatives, their untruths, their failed policies and promises which drive people to once again point out the obvious.
And contrast it with the rhetoric.
I can understand why it's sickening. And I'm very sorry. I truly am. For I find it sickening, also.
