In learning to fly one is subjected to "unusual attitudes and recovery". "Under the hood", with your eyes closed, they put the plane into some attitude, generally on the verge of a stall, then turn it over to you. You have to check the instruments, and return the plane to straight, level and a predetermined course.
One learns fast that the plane will fly itself better than you can, but sometimes the intructor will lean on a control, so you can't just leave it all alone.
And, I always got sick on the first maneuver. We always terminated the session just before I fouled the plane, but it was no fun.
HOWEVER, they make some great drugs for nausea now, developed for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
As much as I hate nausea, were I you I think I'd get something to help and go for it. What the hell.
