Been there.
Passenger, not flying. I don't like either small planes or small boats. I've told my fellow space workers I'll go into space when they have a giant wheel up there waiting for me, and cute flight attendants on the way up.
Definitely not "pioneer" material.
Only thing I'd probably find worse would be a trip to the ocean floor in one of those tiny research submarines, hours down to the abyss and hours up. If I wasn't claustrophobic before, I'm pretty sure that would do it for me.
