re: Mmmmm....guinea pig ribs!

You're right! Though rib night tends to go pretty quick. Luckily they're quick breeders.

And agreed on the stuff out of the gravity wells. There's enough work to do between here and the Moon to last a lifetime. LEO facilities, EML-1 facilities, GEO runs, HEO and MEO military runs, stockpiling mass on the L-4 and L-5 gravipotential mesas, servicing SEL-1 and SEL-2 assets, building SPSes to tap a 4 billion year power supply, and so much more!

But...the things that will really be of benefit for Earth, the polar scopes for slow sky surveys for out of plane objects, the crater counting, sizing and dating for impact history, and study of the regolith for Solar history and the story of our trips around the galactic core, these are all on the Moon.

So we've got a lot of work to do in cislunar space. I just wish we'd get around to getting started instead of futzing around with quick forays a decade out.
