re: Report of the Dark Energy Task Force
Dark Energy. Talk about something we did not see coming. It's humbling to realize that ordinary baryonic matter is a distand third in the composition of the universe. Everything we see with optical, radio, whatever telescopes is a tiny shadow of what's out there.
I would love to live to see the overly complex standard model of particle physics, arcane and inbred string theory and everything else turned over in a new paradigm shift comparable to Einstein's, but then I'm a radical and know little to nothing of the real science.
