The two bodyguards hired to get the Saudis out of the country remember that day vividly: Dan Grossi, a retired Tampa cop who had worked in internal affairs and homicide and Manuel Perez, a retired FBI agent involved in counter-terrorism.

Grossi was told the that clearance for the flight came from the White House after the Prince's family pulled a favor from former president Bush.
Grossi and Perez recalled the strange feeling of flying in the near-empty sky, knowing of the ban on private flights. "My first re-action to the pilot was....We're not going to get shot down, are we?"

Why weren't these guys called in to testify for the 9/11 Commission, seeing as they were witnesses?
You have to read the book. Page after page of complete and utter skullduggery by Wally Hilliard and his international dope running ring out of Huffman Aviation in Venice Florida. Wally "lost" $7 million dollars there and paid no federal, state or employee taxes. The Venice DEA and police department were told to leave it's owner, Rudi Dekkers alone, etc... ad nauseum.
His friend Jeb Bush came in with a C-130 military cargo plane and took ALL the records from the flight school (Huffman Aviation) the morning after 9/11 and took them back to the Pensacola airbase, where they've never seen the light of day since. Did I mention that Mohammed Atta actually had a Florida driver's licence issued from that very same military base? Honestly, you'd have to read the book to understand that there's a big stinking fish down there they don't want anyone to know about.
