You haven't got a leg to stand on Scott. And you're digging your heels in a place where you'll find little support. I remember Clinton's attempts to take out Bin Laden. I remember Bush's dismissal of the threat, and how he gave a 30 day free pass to NOT BOMB the Afganistan/Pakistan border after 9/11 so that Bin Laden COULD escape. (Our deals with Pakistan leave lots to be desired, or haven't you noticed?)
>"It is obvious that the term refers to undermining the troops in the field by causing unnecessary political dissent at home."
Unnecessary politcal dissent??
Christ! Get with the program Scott.........Iraq is a mess! And getting worse by the day.
The troops are being crushed physically and psychologically from their extended duties, coming home with their appendage blown off and Iraq and Afganistan are complete and utter FAILURES and you're crying about concern and condemations as the real problem we're not successful??
Get a grip!
