Newt speaks

I'm sure there are Democratic perverts too. And I don't doubt the Dems would be just as likely to cover up a political embarassment as the Reps.
But...

Newt Gingrich commented on Foleygate this morning (reported on NPR).
In his opinion, the reason congressional leaders did not move to stop Foley was that "they feared they would be accused of gay-bashing".

Leave it to the neocons to find some way of blaming this all on the liberals.
