If I tried to sell the Club for Growth or the Heritage Foundation as not being "Republican," how far do you think I would get here? Actually, the Heritage people haven't been that happy with Republicans on a lot of issues, but that's beside the point.
From the information I have this was an organized attack clear up to the DNC, along with evidence that the blog site where this first appeared was set up specifically for this attack. This does NOT mean the evidence itself was fake, but that its presentation was timed and organized. A lot of bloggers on both the left and right are enthusiastically tracking the "paper trail" on this (what would the electronic version be? "Electron trail?").
