There is one thing the Democrats can do.
It's obvious from many news stories that our enemies believe this last election was a great victory for them.
What the Democrats can do is stand up and declare that they may do things differently from the way they have been done, maybe a lot differently, but they are going to also firmly pursue the war on Islamic terrorism in every way they can, and that our enemies should take no pleasure in the changes in Washington.
If they project the all-too-common leftist meme that the war is largely imaginary, and a political football, we're in trouble.
As yet, I don't know which way it will go, any more than I know how Bush is going to handle the next two years. Reagan, or Arnold?
