On Carter: I had a friend that was SS assigned to Carter for about 6 months. He was as non-political as you will ever see and his opinion was that Jimmy and Roselyn were Ass Holes of the highest order.
Just one opinion up close and personal that would not preclude Carter from being a decent President.
On a non-personal level I regard him as the worst President of the 20th century and I admire nothing about him.
