The Great Decider has decided "we aren't losing". Wants more troops.

Apparently they are still "bringing 'em on". And the Commander-in-Chief has decided he needs more sojers to subdue a third-world country the size of the Great State of California. Between 23 and 25 million people, before he started slaughtering them. Started out with a military budget larger than the next 7 or 8 largest countries put together. And he wants more time. For his legacy. Which has been decided. It's official. He's a loser. Corrupt. And stupid. That's all settled, the history books can be written now.

We really need to treat the posts which don't acknowledge Iraq and Afghanistan as completely unmitigated disasters the same way we do those regarding crop circles, UFOs, creationism, and perpetual motion machines. The True Believin' Iraq and Afghanistan posts are as out of touch with reality as anything promoting the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, Virgin Birth and the Resurrection. And Jonah living in the belly of a whale. An Ark, with two of everything on it. Christ, believe those things and you can believe anything, even Bush.

The posters may seem to be nice people otherwise. They may have a modicum of charm. They may even be able to string 3 or 4 words together into a sentence. I'll grant that. It's the content of their discourse which is stark, raving crazy and/or stupid beyond belief.

Fuckin' idiots is what they are. At least the other anomolists are sincere. These people are either that stupid or being paid. I, for one, would hope they are being paid. Then there would be an excuse for their dangerous, cruel silliness. There really is a limit to what can be tolerated before even decent, polite people don't call "bullshit". And I'm decent, not all that polite sometimes.

Consider the below. It's worth headlines when that smirking son-of-a-bitch says "we aren't winning". Oh, Praise The Lord he prays to for that revelation. "We aren't winning." The bastard should read the newspapers. Three years ago they had figured it out. Or the French, Germans, or even Saudis. They knew even before the miserable cretin invaded, with the help of innumerable True Believers.

U.S. Not Winning War in Iraq, Bush Says for 1st Time/ President Plans to Expand Army, Marine Corps To Cope With Strain of Multiple Deployments

By Peter Baker Washington Post Staff Writer Wednesday, December 20, 2006; A01

"President Bush acknowledged for the first time yesterday that the United States is not winning the war in Iraq and said he plans to expand the overall size of the "stressed" U.S. armed forces to meet the challenges of a long-term global struggle against terrorists.

"As he searches for a new strategy for Iraq, Bush has now adopted the formula advanced by his top military adviser to describe the situation. "We're not winning, we're not losing," Bush said in an interview with The Washington Post. The assessment was a striking reversal for a president who, days before the November elections, declared, "Absolutely, we're winning."
