I was not here in 2002 nor involved in internet forums during the Clinton administration. You would've found considerable outrage over some of the boneheaded things he did. I voted for Perot over him.

You've only gotten to truly see my voice raised at a time when the power was hugely in favor of the right. I despise one party controlling it all no matter who it is.

I really didn't like JFK during his administration. I despised Lyndon Johnson. Ted Kennedy puts the hair up on the back of my head. Hillary gives me the creeps.

That said, my revulsion of those idiots never included a real fear of them as I have had from time to time of the potential of the current administration. I have never seen such an assault on the Constitution in my lifetime of watching politics. As an atheist and free thinker, I'd be in the crosshairs if they succeed.

So don't take my hard stance against the current policies as unthinking support for the Democrats. It's simply that the Dems are the only thing that can slow down or stop the abuses and the rise to power. What other weapon do we have against them? If I knew one it'd certainly be preferential to ceding power to a bunch of bloated fat cats that have proved imcompetent in the past.

The guys I'm taking on in the forums here I'm not taking on because they're conservative. It's because they're bullies.
