Yeah that little two stroke generator was pretty cool. I'd consider getting one but I have two I don't use. I actually enjoy the solitude when the power goes out. We stay warm with a wood stove, and cook on the gas range (oven won't light). The only thing I really need a generator for is the well pump and the septic tank but as I said before, we can pack water and limit what goes down the drain. Heck, I don't even mind taking a shower with a 2liter coke bottle full of warm water.

There were several people up here that died of CO poisoning. People brought their Charcoal grills inside and a few people brought their generators into their living rooms. Evidently warnings labels don't help when there is a language barrier.
