Went through the storm amazingly well, thanks for asking. If ANYWHERE loses power, we do, and didn't. The cable internet connection broke a few times, was back up in minutes. Was standing outside and saw a tree come down across wires, sparks everywhere, didn't lose power this direction. Another tree came down across the road, and 4 went down ALONG the road, all within 100 yards of my place

I have three large fir trees and one large maple within 30 feet of the house, was glad the wind was blowing them into the street between houses.

I, too, stood outside and watched the lightning from transformers. And while I have a 5,000 watt generator, it's too noisy. Ordered a small one I detailed on Community, dirt cheap and supposed to be quieter. 1,000 watts continuous, enough to run the furnace, OR fireplace insert fan and computer, OR microwave.

Glad you got through without any people or property damaged. When everything gets through OK it's just sheer fun.
