Weirder.... I turn the computer on, then wait 10 minutes or so, then suddenly it comes to life. Then it beeps a few times and the line "CMOS Battery Low" comes up on the screen. So replacing the battery didn't even fix that problem!

Sounds like you replaced the battery and still got the message?
