I was reading about Arnie's new budget today, which has been pretty well eclipsed by all the hooha in Washington. Here's the revenue summary:
And here's what it's all being "wasted" on:
44.8% comes from personal income tax, 27.3% from the sales tax, the rest everything from sin taxes to usage fees. The poor put-upon businesses are contributing 8.5% to running the state.
