he thought that Berlin would have been better off if we let the Commies have it.
I never did understand what point he was trying to make...I think he was trying to say that if we really believed in Capitalism then we should have let the Berliner's fight for their own freedom...Which was a round-a-bout way of saying that capitalism was doomed, thus we needed to play games with the Berliner's and pretend that they had a snoballs chance in hell of ever being free...
