One thing I learned in my old days of tournament martial arts fighting- Just because the fellow won the fight doesn't mean hes a good fighter. It just means he was better than the guy who lost, at least in the context of that match.

Personally, I think secular democracy sunk communism- as communism is antithetical to that practice. I'm sure you pin it on Free Market Capitalism ala Reagan and Andrew Carnegie. But the ultimate probelm with communism wasn't its problematic economic system- it was its framework for governance and the necessity of that governance to spend most of its time and resources in re-inforcing the unworkable economic system- which of course sets up a nasty cycle of nepotism and abuse.

Thats something I'd be glad to discuss with you, but Iraq and the 'neocon' worldview... No. Nothing here for either of us.
