It ain't happening, Bowser. There are no secret arrests going on of U.S. citizens. Heck, even the names of all the terrorists squirreled away in Guantanamo are public information.
How many people DON'T know who Jose Padilla is?
Try and imagine what would happen here in the real world if Darth Bush's storm troopers started hauling off U.S. citizens in the middle of the night. You really thing all the relatives and friends would just be quiet about it, and not bring in press and legal help just because it was illegal to talk about it?
There are probably attorneys who pray on their knees every night to get a case like that, never mind reporters. For an attorney to be jailed for releasing information on a case like this would be sheer heaven for them. It wpuld be the Cause of the Century, and the law firm who took up this fight would be famous.
I used the word "hallucinate" deliberately earlier. Think about it.
