Here's a puzzle for you: The Right hates the ACLU because it perceives it as liberal. Yet the ACLU's stereotypical claim to fame--what I'd say if I had to explain the ACLU to somebody who'd never heard it before--is that they're the people who even defend the free speech rights of Nazis.

But Nazis were socialist. So it's no stretch for ACLU.

Ronald Reagan was called a extreme right winger. We can be certain he had no love for Nazis. That Nazis are associated with the right wing is merely because you have been brainwashed to think this.

Nazis called themselves socialist, they functioned by state control. They had state social programing for their youths. They controlled the media and used propaganda. Americans at the time who had anything good to say about nazis was because they thought that it was a new system of governing- rather anything resembling the American way of doing things. In other words any American who had thought Hitler had any promise was because of a socialistic approach- a new approach, a wave of the future. NOT because Hitler was a traditionalist in terms of Germany or America. And just because Hitler fancied himself as an emperor it was no different than Stalin or Castro.

Speaking of Castro, if Cubans were all white people, the Nazis would probably flock to the island- that is if the white trash could scrape enough money together to buy the plane ticket.
