Here's the email. Go to page 22 of the 25 page pdf, email from Kyle Sampson at 11:36am, May 11th, 2006. It's the only email on the page. This was in the initial document release and not just something Feinstein's office started talking about.

While it's clear from the email that Lam had been on the list earlier, it's also clear that the administration "has a real problem" with Lam "right now", sure seems to imply something going on right then, more than before, in addition to/rather than generally thinking she was a poor performer. Funny how "right now" is right is the day after a major event in the Cuningham case, and indeed after two of weeks of big developments in that case. Not likely Lam was working on a whole lot else at the time.
