A possibility, but the oil is not distibuted evenly. That will cause trouble. Iran will support the Shia majority, everyone else the Sunni minority, and everybody hates the Kurds, potentially the most stable and friendly to the West. Even the Turks could get involved over them. It's not clear what would shake out after the dust settled. And the Shia are just waiting for the US to leave so they can get their revenge on the Sunnis. I don't think anyone can predict what will happen, even the people from the 'hood.
